Binaki Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 30 ears sweet corn, grated
  • 1 & ½ tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pack cheddar cheese
  • 3 cans evaporated milk
  • 1 stick butter (or margarine)
  • 500 g white sugar
  • Corn husk or skin

HOW TO COOK:

  1. In a mixing bowl, pour- in the grated sweet corn.
  2. Add- in the evaporated milk, butter, baking powder, cheddar cheese, and sugar and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place portions of the mixture in the corn husks.
  4. Prepare the steamer and steam for 15 to 20 minutes or until set.
  5. Alternatively, you can steam the mixture first until set and wrap them in corn husks prior to serving.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
