Homemade Bagoong Alamang Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz raw shrimp paste
  • 4 oz pork (with fat), sliced
  • 1 medium- sized tomato, diced
  • 3 tsp vinegar
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 & ½ tablespoons sugar

HOW TO MAKE:

  1. Place the pork in a pan.
  2. Heat and sear the pork until the oil comes out.
  3. Add- in the  garlic, onion, and tomato then sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Add- in the raw shrimp paste, sugar, and vinegar then stir.
  5. Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes (stir once in awhile).
  6. Remove from heat and transfer to a bowl.
  7. Allow to cool and serve or place in a jar to consume later. Enjoy!
