Pork Adobo With Potatoes Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs pork, cubed
  • 2 medium- sized potatoes, cubed
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 pcs dried bay leaves
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp whole peppercorn
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat the cooking oil in a pan.
  2. When the oil gets hot enough, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Add- in the pork and whole peppercorn then cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Pour- in the soy sauce and water.
  5. Add- in the bay leaves and let boil.
  6. Cover the pan and simmer for about 40 to 60 minutes (add water if needed).
  7. Pour- in the vinegar and allow to reboil.
  8. Add- in the potatoes.
  9. Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
  10. Add some salt to taste.
  11. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving bowl. Enjoy!
