Sarciadong Itlog Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 5 pcs eggs, hard boiled and shell removed
  • 1 pc raw egg, beaten
  • 1 & ½ cup water
  • 1 pc chicken cube
  • 3 pcs medium plum tomato, diced
  • 1 pc small red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 pc small green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 pc medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 stems scallions, cut into small parts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 3 tbsp canola cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Pour and heat the oil in a pan.
  2. When the oil gets hot enough, saute the onion, garlic, tomato, and bell peppers for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Pour- in the water and the chicken cube then let it boil.
  4. Add- in the salt and ground black pepper then stir.
  5. Pour- in the beaten egg then stir until the egg is distributed.
  6. Continue to cook for 3 minutes more.
  7. Add- in the chopped scallions and boiled eggs then cook for 2 minutes,
  8. Remove from heat then transfer to a serving bowl.
  9. Garnish with scallions on top. Enjoy!
