Buttered Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Shrimps are popular in our country and it is a number 1 choice when craving for seafoods. Well, aside from being undeniably delicious and quick in terms of cooking, it is also very flexible when it comes to making different dishes.

Name it, we can come up with Shrimp Adobo, Shrimp Tempura, Shrimp Pasta, Buttered Shrimp and Veggies, and even Shrimp Kare- Kare, just to mention a few!

Buttered Garlic Shrimp is a simple yet widely known dish when cooking shrimps. In fact, it is so easy that one won’t even need a recipe on how to do it. However, we’ve included a vital ingredient in this recipe to help make sure that your recipe goes up one level better.

Having this dish in a seafood or dampa restaurant might be quite expensive and it is always a good idea to just make one at home. You can even make as much as you want (since I know everyone couldn’t get enough of these)!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Shrimps
  • 1/4 bar of butter
  • Garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups of lime soda (7 UP or Sprite)
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Soak the shrimp in lime soda (7 UP or Sprite) for 10 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a frying pan.
  3. Pour- in the chopped garlic and saute until it turns brown.
  4. Pour- in the soaked shrimp and wait until the shrimp is cooked.
  5. Pour- in the parsley, the salt, and pepper then stir.
  6. If the sauce is too much, separate the shrimp then wait until the sauce evaporates.
  7. Remove from heat and transfer on a serving plate. Enjoy!
