Easy Tilapia With Tausi Garlic Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 pcs tilapia fillets
  • 1 cup tausi (salted black beans), rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp garlic chili sauce (try homemade)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

HOW TO COOK:

  1. First, wash the tilapia fillet then pat dry.
  2. Lightly season the tilapia with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour and heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add- in the tilapia and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until nicely seared but not fully cooked.
  5. Arrange the cooked tilapia in a single layer on a lightly greased baking dish. Set aside.
  6. Meanwhile, combine the tausi, garlic chili sauce, soy sauce, and water in a sauce pan.
  7. Heat and bring to a boil, stirring regularly, and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes.
  8. Pour mixture over the tilapia.
  9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a 375 F or 190 C oven for about 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork and sauce is reduced.

  10. Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving plate. Enjoy!
